Product Review: Airflo Ridge Delta line
This line is one that I have been fiddling with for light and heavy weight rods for about a season now.  It is described in the catalog as:
"Originally designed for UK Stillwater, the Delta's unique taper creates a smooth transition of energy to deliver the most delicate cast imagineable. With its long front taper and longer than average head design, the Delta performs perfectly for all "fine and far off" presentations and doubles as an excellent single hand spey line in larger sizes."

But, I have found it to be incredibly accurate at longer distances as well, something that can be very important when you are fishing for carp on the flats.  The longer than average head is easy to pick up and re-cast at longer distances, and it shoots out of the guides like a rocket.
If you are fishing with heavier flies or rigs (or even tossing wind resistant bugs to other fish) cutting off a bit of the front running line turns this thing into a beast that is able to turn over the heaviest lead eyes you can tie on a hook with ease, and roll cast with deadly accuracy.
All this plus Airflo's 5 year no crack guarantee and Ridge technology.  This is my go to line in most flats situations for fish even in the warmest weather as it will not get gummy!
This line gets the thumbs up for ease of casting at long distances, enough grain weight to load a stiff 9 weight rod at shorter distances, and accuracy and tracking that many other lines seem to lack when they get into the heavy line categories.
