Sad, sad days
I have not been out nearly enough to chase carp this season. Here in Wisconsin our weather has stunk for carp. Cold summer means low carp activity. Add to that the trout side of the store hopping because of the chilly summer, and well you get to only read about others catching carp on the great lakes, or over on the Columbia.
This is, however, the season that we get a preview o fnew carp flies for the upcoming season. And there area few really cool ones that we will be featuring on the site here soon.
We will be doing a pretty big overhaul to the shopping page here in October as well to reflect some of the changes in rods and other fishing stuff.
The most exciting being the announcement of the Scott A3 8' 6 and 8' 8 weight rods. Shorty warm water rods for under $350.00. Sweet.
Once our trout season ends, keep an eye on twitter, and this blog for updates on new gear for 2010!
Until then, happy carping from all of us here at the Uncommon Carp.
