Today is warm.  Mid 50's warm.  I am not looking forward to months of cold weather and no carp fishing.  It is time to hit the maps and check out some new spots, as well as talk to some of the river rats to figure out the Mississippi backwaters.  Over the next few days we will be updating the shopping page to reflect some new rods and reels out already, as well as a general overhaul of bugs.
  Things are looking carpy for the spring, I am more than green with envy towards those of you who live the endless summer in the south lands.  I may just get grumpy enough to hop on a train and head to warmer climates to chase fish this winter.  We'll see how much snow we get.
