The UCC is rolling along
I have been virtually absent from the water lately, both due to the influence of the trout side of my life being way too busy, and the Uncommon Carp becoming quite a popular place to pick up carp bugs.
I will be adding even more flies here soon as we have found some more tyers and suppliers, and I may actually dust off my Frankenstien carp rod in the next week or so.
Frankenstein is the top three sections of an old Echo classic 10' 6 weight rod. Put a handle on the third section and called it good. Beautiful casting rod and can fight fish with the best of them. But man is it ugly (I actually cut the cork off the original rod so the handle is off center, cut up and glued etc. A perfect carp rod).
